Let me introduce the whole Council to you:

Now is the time for the final stages of planning our Annual Cherokee Picnic for
April 12, 2008. We have Jeanne Evartt, and Mary Kaulity, as Volunteer
Coordinators and they will be calling on you to volunteer some of your time to
help make this year’s picnic the best ever. If you have any special talents or
resources let Jeanne or Mary know by contacting them at the phone numbers or
emails below. We are looking for volunteer to help out with Transportation
needs; Table and Chairs Setup/Break-Down; Stage and Audio Equipment;
Greeters; Food Service Area; Craft Area; Cleanup Crew; and Miscellaneous.

So spread the word about the picnic so everyone gets the word and look for our
flyer coming from the Cherokee Nation real soon, plus newspaper articles and
flyers from CCCC, all around Kern, Tulare, Fresno, Kings and other counties.
So tell your family and friends about us and get them to join so we can create
and present more events that would include such things as the Annual
Cherokee Picnic, Cherokee History Classes, Cherokee Language Classes,
Culture and Music/Dance Classes.
